Fruits are the best food. They are full of essential vitamins and minerals that are necessary for healthy body development that’s why most of us prefer to make fruit basket delivery when it comes to gifting or wishing someone on their special day. According to the American health and food department the recommended dose of fruit for a healthy adult in a particular s 3 cup size serving per day. It’s also fine to exceed then recommended dose if you have an appropriate weight and your exertion level per day is high. But unfortunately, according to the latest research in Europe, almost 34% of the adults aged between 21 to 45 years have limited activity level. One of the biggest factors is late sitting in the offices. So many people start feeding them self from fruits and vegetable for losing weight.Most of the experts state that consuming fruits is the best way to keep your tummy full. It is also a healthier option when compared to fried items, which are high in calories. But, did you know there are high-calorie fruits that you must avoid in your weight loss program?

No doubt fruits and vegetables are the healthiest food. But they alone do not promise to make you lose weight. It depends on many factors like

• Quantity of fruits eaten
• The level of activity per day
• Type of fruits eaten
• The form in which the fruit is consumed

The basic fact on which the weight gain or lose plan depends on is the amount of calories consumed vs. Calorie intake. There are some fruits that have high level of calories and eating them in huge quantity can make you gain weight. These fruits are

Because the dried fruit has had most of its water removed, it packs a lot of calories and nutrients into a small amount of food. Eat a cup of raisins and you’ll be getting almost 500 calories. Prunes provide 447 calories per cup, dates have 415 calories per cup, and dried currants contain 408 calories per cup. Other dried fruits, including figs, apricots and cranberries, are also high in calories per cup.

They are a rich source of energy as they are high in calories. Avocado is the most fattening food. One sliced cup of avocado has almost 240 calories. Thus, it is recommended not to eat avocado if you wish to lose weight.
