There are many, many ways to advertise when you have a business. Business cards are a very good way since all of the most important information is on there as well as your contact information to get the rest of the information. They are small and easy to pass out every where you go. Brochures on the other hand have all of the information and more as well as contact information. They are a little bigger than the business cards but still very small for advertising methods and still very easy to pass out every where you go! They are a wonderful way to advertise your entire business not just the name of it!
What information is included…. This is normally where you put the highlights of the company, the deals that are going on or coming soon. The background of the company. How the company works. The benefits from buying with your company. The list goes on and on! Anything that will drive traffic to your company and that you see as a positive benefit of your company. This is also the beauty of it! You can include most anything you see as important information. You can also change them quite frequently to keep them positive and upbeat as well as trendy.
When to use them… This really is the beauty of them, use them any time and every time! In sales the time is now. Any time a client or potential client ask you questions pass them out. Any time you are in a position of a new client, pass them out. Anytime there is an opportunity, pass them out! With sales it is always selling time! This is true about any business, do you ever see your boss turn away business? Of course not, when there is money to be made it is time to work and advertise! So the answer is use them all day every day!
So now that we know the importance and ease of them, are they really worth it? They do cost a little more than business cards and are used much in the same way. However they really do provide a lot more information than you will see on a business card, also they are big enough to hold on to. I know a lot of people loose the little business cards and they are never seen again. With these they can hold onto them and place them some where they will be seen again. They are big enough to catch your eye but still small enough not to be in the way. For those reason I would say yes they are worth it! Not to mention they are still cheap enough to keep them trendy which is the part I like the most! When someone passes by you with ANYTHING trendy it catches your eye. This is the reaction any business wants. They want heads to turn as they pass by. Only With trendy things this happens every single time!
