Let cardigans do your styling

There are a number of reasons to love winters. For me, cardigan is one of them along with hot chocolate, blankets, weddings and picnics. Winter calls for a lot of outings and dressing up. Cardigan is such a versatile piece that your wardrobe is incomplete without it. The reason I love cardigans is that you can pair them up with almost anything and everything. Easy to wear and take off. You can always take it off comfortably once you start feeling warm, without messing up your dress or hair. Cardigans never go out of fashion, so you can keep using them for years to come.

You can get different styles of cardigans to give you the desired look. Let us check out the ones ruling the street fashion this season.

Classic cardigan: we all have a piece of this in our wardrobe. It is waist length with buttons on the front. You can wear it over tops, camisoles, shirts, kurtis and saree. It is amazingly versatile and comfortable. You must have some in bold colours like black, red, navy blue and grey. You can wear these colours with most of you outfits. Layering them under your jacket will give a chic look along with added warmth. You will also get them in fancy designs giving a dressier look.

Cropped cardigan: this is one cute piece I love. You can wear it over a tank top and look chic as ever, on the other hand you can wear it with a saree in place of blouse and look uniquely gorgeous. Avoid wearing them with long tops and kurtis the contrast in length does not go too well. Pair them with high waist pants or skirts to get a cute yet smart look.

Oversized cardigan: perfect item for days when you have nothing to wear. They look so casual and thrown back, my favourite look for hanging out with friends. Pair them with skinny jeans or leggings and you are all set to spend a comfortable day outdoors. For making you look even more stylish, slip into an ankle length boots. Do not make the error of wearing anything loose, whether skirt or pants, with oversized cardigans, which could be the disaster of the season.

Wrap cardigans: these are not as loose as oversized cardigans, but have a longer y-length and cascades on the front. It looks very feminine and graceful. All you need is to pair them with well fitted clothes under it. Skinny jeans or knee length pencil skirts will do well. If you are wearing traditional Indian, go for straight cut well fitting kurti or kameez with leggings or churidar for lowers.

Now you can enjoy the comfort of buying your favourite cardigan online. The online shopping portals have a brilliant collection of cardigan for women in India.
