List of Thrilling Tourist Destinations in Delhi

Delhi is a wonderful place especially for tourists. To plan your visit properly, you must make a list of things you have to see and do. For most part, you can see the wonderful buildings and the tombs of the Mughal and Khilji rulers. Since there are some any things to see, one should determine which ones are of interest to them personally.

Places of tourist interest

One can include the trip to Bahai Lotus Temple with a trip to Dilli Haat and the Qutub Minar. Or you can plan a trip to the grand temples of India. The former includes a full day excursion where you see the architectural wonders of the world. After this, you go and do some sightseeing in the Dilli Haat bazaar with its handicrafts and exquisite cuisine.

The Bahai Temple is called Lotus Temple by the locals. The Qutub Minar stands 238 feet tall, and is the tallest minaret in all of India. Humayun’s Tomb is also a UNESCO Heritage site.

Most of all in the private tour Delhi, you see the cultural splendour and rich heritage of the Mughal period in the various buildings. These were built by the Emperor Shahjahan in 1638 A.D. The Akshardham Temple is the largest temple in Delhi. It houses art that is more than 1000 years old. You will find boat rides and lotus gardens. The Iskcon Temple has three altars made of red and yellow sandstone. Here you witness a unique light and sound show that recites the story of the Mahabharata and Ramayana.

Red Fort: Built by the Mughal Emperors, the Red fort is as splendid example of the architectural splendour of those times. The massive Redstone walls built by Shahjahan in 10 years since 1638 AD, extends for 2 kilometres. Remember that the list above is not comprehensive and so you can add more items to the list. The tour operators and expert guides recommend the photo walks and heritage walks. However, you do not require a vehicle for this. One can walk or take a bicycle rickshaw ride to the next spot.
