Results of Presidential Elections was declared on July 20, 2017 (Thursday) and Ram Nath Kovind got 65.6% of the total votes where as his opposition’s joint candidate, Meira Kumar secured only 34% votes. – Ram Nath Kovind belongs to a Dalit weaving community in Paraukh village of Kanpur Dehat district, Uttar Pradesh on October 1, 1945.

-He was appointed as Governor of Bihar on 8th August 2015.
