HTC finally unveiled its latest android smartphone, the HTC One. The phone is powered with a 4.7″ full-HD display with 1080p resolution and comes packed in an aluminum unibody. it’s powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB RAM and is available in Gray, Black, Red colors. HTC One will be offered with 32GB and 64GB storage choices with non-expandable storage as well. HTC One has rich connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 802.11 a/ac/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4, GPS with GLONASS, NFC, Infrared and Micro-USB.
The HTC One runs on Google’s android 4.1 jelly bean Operating System and a 4.2.2 update is already in the works.
HTC has done a unique thing with the camera and calls it the UltraPixel camera. The pixels are much larger than regular smartphone pixels and promise vastly improved per-pixel quality as well as highly enhanced low-light performance. It is thus fully expected to win the megapixel race decisively.
Both front and rear cameras of the phone have full-HD capabilities along with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). The phone is equipped with a 2,300mAh powerful non-removable battery.
The HTC One can compete with other brands like Sony’s Xperia Z. It is predicted to debut in March and give stiff competition to the Nokia Lumia 920, which was launched in Bharat last month, the Apple iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy SIII and BlackBerry Z10.
HTC One price in india is predicted to be around Rs 45000 INR.
