The IPL has its fair share of big stars and beloved celebrities. This is even more so the case than in other notorious leagues, as the scale in which the IPL takes place is mind-bogglingly vast in nature. However, as you’d expect, there are some stars that shine brighter than others.

MS Dhoni
The name MS Dhoni is one that rings loud all over the world. Almost everyone has heard of this legendary player, and once you have heard about a few of his exploits, it is going to come as no surprise as to why this is the case.
Perhaps Dhoni’s most notable attribute is that he finds himself amongst the most skilled finishers in IPL history. Not only is this feat a testament to his talent, but it also makes him somewhat of a fan favourite due to the excitement he brings anytime he is up on the pitch.
MS Dhoni is captain of the Chennai Super Kings, in which he has personally gone ahead and secured a whopping three wins since his run started in 2008. Dhoni has been the head of this infamous team from the start, and he has seen his team members grow from promising youths to seasoned legends.
Moreover, there is no doubt that Dhoni played an integral role in the development of the Chennai Super Kings, and it is fair to say that this team would be in no way near the position it is today without the aid of MS Dhoni.
In reality, words alone cannot do this player justice. Everyone that knows a thing or two about cricket knows that Dhoni is one in a million, and there is certainly never going to be anyone else like Dhoni ever again. Virat Kohli
Virat Kohli is perhaps the most talented cricket player ever. Nobody even comes close to bringing the same level of performance as Kohli does, and everyone that goes to watch him play goes away in absolute awe.
Furthermore, for those of you that love stats and numbers, Virat Kohli is going to be right down your alley. Virat Kohli’s stats are some of the most impressive in the league, and when it comes to overall runs, there is no one that is able to be Kohli. Oh, and did we mention that he is also the highest goal scorer of all time? We probably should have opened with that.
His skill is more than reflected by his legendary stats, and the fact that he has scored more goals than any other person in IPL history is truly something that is hard to wrap your head around.
In all reality, it would not be a surprise to see Virat Kohli be remembered as the best IPL player to have ever existed, and we may never see the records he has set being beaten. Kohli is one of the biggest IPL stars ever, and his name is going to be remembered for centuries on end.
