The OJEE or also known as Odisha Joint Entrance Test is a state level entrance exam for admission into private and government medical, dental and engineering courses. The entrance test paves the way for admission into different B.Tech, B.Pharm in the engineering courses. This year the OJEE result for different courses would be announced in the first week of June, 2016.
How to Check the Result?
After appearing for the entrance test, the result would be declared within a months’ time. The candidates who have appeared for the exam can check the result by visiting the website of Odisha Joint Entrance Examination. The candidates will have to provide their name, father’s name and date of birth on the result download panel/window or they can also check the result by providing their date of birth and roll number.
How To Download the Result?
Once the candidates have checked their result and they have successfully passed the exam, in that case, they must take a hard copy of the result and retain it for future counselling and admission procedure.
How to Know the subject wise marks?
If there are any candidates who wish to know the marks which they have secured in different subjects, in that case, they will have to make a nominal payment of Rs. 400 in the form of demand draft. The candidates can request for the demand within 10 days after the declaration of the result.
Review and Retotaling of the exam
There is no provision for review of the answer sheet, but the candidates can definitely apply for retotaling and for this request the candidates will have to pay an erstwhile amount of Rs.500 paid in favor of OJEE-2016 drawn on any nationalized bank in Bhubaneswar.
Preparation of the Merit List
For candidates who are seeking admission in medical, dental and engineering courses, the merit list would be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
There will also be specific lateral entry list prepared for engineering and technology. But such rank list would be prepared based on the marks obtained in diploma test in Pharmacy.
There will also be provision for candidates given under the lateral entry scheme.
Counselling of the exam
The candidates will have to come for the counselling to the university to complete the process. On the day of the counselling, the candidates will be required to bring all their documents and the requisite admission fees to complete the process. If any candidate who has been there in the first merit list fails to make it on time, in that case, the candidates who have been placed in the waitlisted category will be considered for admission. Those candidates who have qualified the test but failed to come on the day of counselling will not be able to claim their seat for the admission.
