- According to Prof NK Taneja (Vice-Chancellor), the curriculum of the proposed study of SARS-CoV2 will be chalked out by the heads of zoology, botany and environmental sciences.
- The university also proposes to incorporate the study of coronavirus in three existing science courses.
- The study material for this subject will be included in the new diploma course. It would be a self-financing course, for which in-principle approval has already been given.
The COVID-19 course will be soon put before the Academic Council of the University for necessary approval.

Latest Updates of 2020 Admission into CCS University
Admissions are now open for all courses in the Chaudhary Charan Singh University. The admission to all courses offered is based on the admission test conducted by the University. The test in each course consists of 100 multiple-choice questions. The medium of entrance test is English except for admission into its language courses. The date of entrance test (for selected courses falls on the 1st week of July 2020.
To apply to courses at CCS University, candidates must acquire the information brochure and application form from the university website. You must submit a separate application form for each course. Application forms are available from the 3rd week of May 2020.

Eligibility criteria for those applying for undergraduate courses must have secured a minimum of 50 per cent marks in 10+2 with the required subjects. Those applying to Postgraduate courses must have passed the 10+2+3 pattern with the required subject with 50 per cent marks.
Selection is based on the performance in the entrance test conducted at the University. In the entrance test, one mark will be awarded for each correct answer while 3/4 marks will be deducted due to each incorrect answer. The pass mark in the entrance test is 45 per cent which is subjected to change depending on the course.
