HTC is a Taiwan based high end smartphone manufacture and has recently launched a mid cost smartphone – HTC Desire U which is priced at Rs.7, 999/- and is aiming to target the low cost manufacturers. Without compromising on the high-end features of the smartphone, HTC has designed HTC Desire U which runs on Android 4.0 (ICS) OS coupled with 1 GHz single core processor. It has a 4.0-inch display with 480 X 800 pixel resolution and weighs 114 Gms and is 9.3 mm thick. It’s loaded with a 512 MB RAM, 4 GB internal storage and expandable memory of 32GB via microSD card. It has a 5MP autofocus and LED flash camera, a powerful battery of 1650mAH and for connectivity it supports 3G and Bluetooth 4.0.
