1. Sydney, Australia

After Wellington in New Zealand, Sydney is the second largest city to celebrate the transition to the New Year. Each year, millions of people watch the incredible fireworks in the city on television lights, undoubtedly among the finest on the planet organized that day.

In Barcelona, the tradition is that you eat twelve grapes grains to accompany the 12 strokes of midnight ringing the transition to the New Year.
