Intex is aiming to launch an android smartphone with a large 5.9-inch display within the Indian market shortly. there’s no word on the precise launch date or final pricing, however the smartphone is probably going to be released within the coming back weeks.
Dubbed as Intex aqua style, the smartphone are going to be running on android 4.0 ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system. The phone also will keep dual-SIM connectivity, powered with 1GHz dual-core Cortex A9 processor, 8MP camera, 1.3MP front camera, 2500 mAh batterry, 512MB of RAM, 1GB of internal Storage and microSD card support. The display on the smartphone sports WVGA resolution, that could be a draw back, considering its large size, then again it’s expected to be priced around INR 10-11K and that we can’t expect a lot of in this price-bracket.
