You should start with finding a printer that you know you are going to be able to trust. You want to work with a printer that can provide you a high quality product at the price that is right for you. Take your time shopping around and make sure that you find the printer that is the best for your needs.

When you are self publishing, you will also have to be well aware of the copyright laws that will surround your work. Take the time to get your book copyrighted and ensure that other people do not take the characters from your book and right their own book with them.

Although it may be intimidating to publish your own book, you may be able to save a lot of cost. Do a breakdown of the costs that are associated with printing and associated with publishing to figure out if printing your own book is going to be worth your time and worth your money.
