Monero (XMR) is another secure and decentralizd untraceable cryptocurrency released in april 2014. It provides privacy and decentralization that runs on Linux, android, windows and macOs. It uses a public ledger to record all the transactions while new units are created through a mining process. It has a market capitalization of $6.42 Billion.
Litecoin (LTC) is released in October 2011. And is a peer to peer cryptocurrency. It is an open source software project is aims to creation and transfer of coins and is not managed by any central authority. Its technical details are nearly identical to bitcoin. Litcoin has a faster block generation rate as compared to Bitcoin and thus offers a much faster transaction validation. Market capitalization of Litecoin is $20 billion.
Zcash (ZEC) is released in 2016 and is a more secure cryptocurrency aimed at using cryptography to provide enhanced privacy for its users compared to other crypto currencies such as Bitcoin. It is an open source, decentralized digital cryptocurrency. It is more secure and reports and notes all the transactions on a blockchain with all the details of sending and receiving parties and the amount transferred remains secure thus providing a provision for shielded transaction. Market capitalization of Litecoin is $2 billion.
Dash (Darkcoin) is released in January 2014 is also an open source peer to peer cryptocurrency aims to provide instant and secure transaction. Market capitalization of Litecoin is $7.9 billion.
