Luke Cage creator shares hopes for show’s future as Marvel shows leave Netflix

Luke Cage is one of several Marvel series which leaves Netflix soon – and the big boss of the show now reveals what he expected next to hit.

Creator, Author, Executive Manufacturer and Executive (He really did it!) Cheo Hodari Coker told fans through Twitter earlier this week that he was playing back shows on streaming services, when he revealed what he wanted to see in the series front in tweet utens.

“Rewatching Luke Cage while I can be on Netflix. They will do what they do. It’s theirs. I just hope they don’t sit on it for years to allow a more easier reboot, or air in different from different ones. Mixed , or n-word muted. I want to do a comment track, or original credit, “he wrote.

He then shared a few comments when he reviewed several episodes, before acknowledging if the reboot had happened elsewhere: “Regardless of whether I was asked to return, I really hope they keep Mike [Colter] as Luke and Simone [Missick] hanging out, and All others as other people.

It was confirmed earlier this month that many TV shows Marvel will leave Netflix in early March, along with us here in the digital Spy Learning that the Netflix license has ended. That means the rights will return to Disney, let it open with the possibility of a series’ potentially appearing in Disney +.

Large changes also affected a number of other popular performances, including Daredevil and Jessica Jones.

We know some Marvel shows will debut at Disney + in Canada next month, but it has not been confirmed when or where the viewers in other countries will meet again.

Luke Cage will be available on Netflix until March 1.
