Batman introduced new income, full of dark knights, people who definitely don’t mind beating criminals to porridge. In the trailer released so far, we have watched Robert Pattinson handed over all kinds of savage penalties, from changing the face of a gang leader into a porridge to shock the Ministry and dropped it with their own weapons. Nobody told how far he would go to send the justice brand.
As we learned from Pattinson itself in our Batman cover story for the new edition of the Den Of Geek Magazine, this version of the character must have sounded a little more unhing than what happened before, someone who likes to let go of revenge on his criminals to follow the darkest corner of the city of Gotham. Indeed, this film looks so hard that some fans are really surprised to learn that Batman has actually been ranked PG-13. After all, it seems that Warner Bros. will eventually deliver Batman R films rated myths, some fans have been pleading for a long time.
But according to Director Matt Reeves, the truth is that the PG-13 is always a plan for his vision of Mythos Batman.
“In my mind, the film will always be a spectacle that is Edgy, Edgy, Noir, the thrilling one is PG-13,” Reeves told the Den Geek. “It’s always as it is, but I always know that we will push what limits can happen, and so we don’t really have to cut anything. The promotional material you see, they fully reflect the tone of the film.”
And before rumors began, Reeves wanted fans to know that no, there was no alternative version of Batman who was eliminated in WB Vaults because it was too dark to reach the ranking of PG-13.
“There is no special cutting of this film where it feels, ‘oh yeah, this is the r rating that you want desperately,'” said Reeves. “I don’t have to suddenly start playing movies or something drastically.”
Reeves, who had long been Purveyor Blockbusters PG-13 – whether it was cloverfield or planetary film ape – finally happy with the pieces of film fan will be able to watch next month.
“I’m glad we got a rating because I want people to come to meet movies. But as far as people are excited about the tones they see in promotional material, it’s truly loyal to the movie tone.”
