People that don’t work out may not understand how devastating a gym closure can be.

You lose more than just the place you exercise. You lose the place that you decompress after a long day at work. You lose treasured rituals like meeting your friends for pick-up basketball games on Wednesday. And you can easily lose a lot of self-esteem if you start to put on a bit of weight.

We’re seeing gyms close and reopen due to COVID-19 at a frustrating rate these days. If you’re a former gym rat that now feels like a rat in a cage, you might have to start exploring some of these unconventional options to help you regain your body.
